A London archive of vintage Hindu spiritual prints found a second life in Bali—and became a tarot deck. Join our informal meet and greet with creator Iulia Filipovscaia, get your own signed copy and explore its 76 cards, its HEART/BODY/MIND/SOUL suits, and how Hindu mythology adds an extra dimension to a Rider–Waite-style reading. This distinctive tarot deck was created from a collection of vintage Hindu spiritual prints—rescued from a closing spiritual shop in London and later brought to Bali. Drawn from an archive of spiritual books and a magazine produced by a Gandhi Foundation, the images were carefully selected, scanned, framed, and exhibited. From the energies and symbolism within these prints, the deck was formed. The deck contains 76 cards. The Major Arcana includes 22 cards, with The World positioned as a threshold card that comes before The Fool and carries no number. The Minor Arcana includes 54 cards, with the King and Queen of Cups combined into one card, and the King and Queen of Coins combined into one card. Each suit is aligned with an aspect of the self: Cups — HEART Pentacles/Coins — BODY Swords — MIND Wands — SOUL Designed to be read in the same way as the Rider–Waite tradition, the deck’s energies correlate with familiar tarot meanings—while also offering an additional layer of interpretation through the Hindu mythology and iconography behind the artwork. Whether you’re a seasoned reader or simply curious, this is an invitation to explore how image, myth, and intuition meet in a living tarot system.
