This is a somatic dance gathering rooted in freedom, presence, and joy. Guided by funk, soul, gospel, and moments of sound healing, the evening invites you to move away from choreography and performance and towards listening to the body’s innate rhythm.
There is no right way to move - pauses, stillness, shaking, softness, and expression are all welcome. This is a space to connect with sensation, emotion, and spirit through movement, grounded in care, consent, and nervous-system awareness. Come as you are, move how you feel, and let the body lead. There will be moments of partner work and touch in this class. there are no mats in this class, and it is not a yoga class.
