Overnight gong bath at Colet House: immersive sound journey from dusk to dawn with singing bowls and healing frequencies.

Saturday 25 July 2026, 20:00 · Colet House, 151 Talgarth Rd, London W14 9DA · The Study Society

Join us for a deeply restorative and transformational overnight sound healing experience. Sometimes called a Gong Bath Journey or an all-night Puja, in some traditions. This experience will carry you through the night and into the dawn. This is an invitation to rest, release, and realign, surrounded by healing frequencies and gentle, intentional energy. This is not a performance — it ’ s a sacred sound space for surrender, restoration, and connection to the deeper self. Schedule: 8:00 PM – Doors Open . Last entry 9:00 pm. Arrive early to set up your sleeping space, settle in, enjoy a warm herbal tea, and begin to unwind in the gentle ambience. 9:00 PM – Breathwork & Energy Grounding . A gentle, guided breathwork to calm the nervous system, open the energetic channels, and prepare body and mind for the sound journey. 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM – Overnight Sound Journey . Lie down and be immersed in a continuous flow of sound, created with the gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, flute, and other healing instruments. The night will unfold in sonic waves designed to guide you through dreamlike states, deep rest, and inner healing. 6:00 – 6:30 AM – Silence & Stillness. A quiet space to allow the body to fully absorb the sound, integrate the journey, and gently return to waking consciousness. 6:30 – 7:00 AM – Sharing Circle. An optional opportunity to reflect, share experiences, and connect in a held, supportive space. 7:00 AM - 8:00AM – Pack Down & Departure. Gently begin to pack up your bedding and leave the space with calm and care. What to Expect: You’ll be lying down for the night in a safe, nurturing environment while a curated soundscape helps dissolve tension, clear stagnant energy, and promote nervous system regulation. Participants often report profound inner journeys, emotional releases, enhanced sleep, or simply a night of deep, uninterrupted rest. It is recommended to clear your schedule on Sunday so you can have a day of rest and integration. You may feel more tired than usual. No prior experience with meditation or sound healing is necessary. Just bring yourself and your willingness to rest and receive. What to Bring: This is your sleep sanctuary for the night, so bring anything you need to remain warm and comfortable: Padded camping mat, or air mattress (something soft to lie on all night) A sleeping bag or warm blanket Pillow(s) Eye mask Water bottle and/or thermo (tea available at venue) Comfortable clothing Snacks (no noisy packets) Optional: journal, sacred items, crystals Important Health & Safety Information: While sound healing is safe and supportive for most people, it may not be suitable for everyone.
