Drum Circle (6-session series)

Get ready to drum up some rhythm at our Drum Circle event! Immerse yourself in a beat-packed 6-session series – whether you're in for the whole groove with full-course tickets or feel like jamming spontaneously with our drop-in tickets. Let's keep the vibe rhythmic! Alternate Thursdays 19:30 - 21:00, West Studio (Sept 24th - Dec 3rd) Our African Drum Circle workshop in London gives you the chance to learn to play the African “Djembe” Drum. Explore the “bass, tone, slap” sounds of this instrument and discover why African drumming is irresistible. Drumming is a great way to release stress and develop creativity, and it’s also the oldest form of communal musical bonding. The class will also include time to dance, shake and move to the beat. Drums are provided. No experience needed! With Ailon & Kay Kay Smith I have been playing djembe for 15 years and love to perform and teach. I like to describe my drum circle sessions as an introduction to the Joys of Djembe. I love what I do and it makes me happy to be able to share my passion with others. My goal is to create an enjoyable experience for all levels and experience of participants. Ailon Free For the last 30 years, Ailon’s professional life has been devoted to the synthesis of spiritual practice with creative self expression. In 2001, he set up The Lotus Exchange -London’s first corporate yoga service, and since then he has worked as a yoga teacher, bodyworker and corporate facilitator as well as an artist, comedian, clown and drumming teacher.
