Tantra workshops & classes in London
Tantra workshops in London are mostly neo-tantra: a modern, Western take on the Indian tradition that works with breath, slow touch, eye contact and attention to build intimacy — with yourself, a partner or a room of strangers. An evening usually mixes guided exercises in pairs with talks on desire, boundaries and energy.
Formats run from two-hour introductions and masterclasses to women's and couples' days, tantric slow dating and full weekends. Clothes stay on at almost all of them; the few that differ say so clearly on the listing.
12 on in the next 30 days — times, venues and tickets, refreshed several times a day.

Common questions
- What happens at a tantra workshop?
- Most begin in a circle with an introduction and some breath or movement to settle the room. Then come exercises, often in pairs: eye gazing, synchronised breathing, giving and receiving simple touch on the hands or back, and practising asking for what you want and saying no. They close with sharing.
- Do I need a partner, and is it sexual?
- No partner is needed — most people come alone, and you can sit out any exercise. Introductory workshops are clothed and non-sexual; they work with sexual energy as a theme, not as an activity. Consent is taught explicitly, and every exercise is an invitation you can decline.
- Is tantra a religion?
- Classical tantra is a family of Hindu and Buddhist traditions with long lineages. The London workshops are neo-tantra, which borrows some practices and language from them but asks for no belief — closer to a relationship or embodiment class than to a religious rite.
- How much do tantra workshops cost in London?
- Across the 31 tantra listings in London we've seen over the last three months and coming up, the typical ticket is £33, and most cost between £25 and £49.
