Authentic relating & circling in London
Authentic relating is a set of guided conversation practices for meeting people honestly: saying what is actually true for you in the moment, and getting curious about the person in front of you instead of performing. Evenings are a sequence of games in pairs and small groups, each with a simple structure and a facilitator holding time.
Circling is its deeper sibling: a group of five to ten turns its whole attention on one person, or on the group itself, and reflects back what it notices. London has weekly drop-ins, beginner evenings and full circling weekends.

- What happens at an authentic relating evening?
- After a short welcome you're paired up for structured games — one person asks a question, the other answers, then you swap, or you take turns finishing a sentence like "right now I notice…". The structures make it easy to go past small talk quickly. Expect plenty of rotation and a sharing circle at the end.
- What is circling?
- A group practice in which everyone gives their attention to one person's experience in the moment — what they feel, how they're landing with the group — and says what they notice in return. It's slower and more intimate than relating games, and usually led by a trained facilitator.
- Is it therapy?
- No. It's a social practice, not treatment, and nobody is asked to dig into their history. You choose how much to share, and "I'd rather not say" is a welcome answer.
