CULTURE REMIX: VOICE & SONG CIRCLE A fortnightly collective of voice and unity A space to come back to yourself and rise together through resonance in choral harmony. Through song and voice, this circle offers a simple way to release, connect, and land - no performance, no right way to do it, just presence and shared vibes. Alongside singing, breathwork and light exercises support expression and presence - helping everyone in the room find their own voice, harmonies, frequencies and depth of connection to self and the group. There will be a cultural mix of repertoires and styles to explore. The circle includes: ✦ Song and voice - open to all, no experience needed ✦ Presence and expression - light exercises to help you arrive and open up ✦ Conversation and wordplay - space to be heard and to listen ✦ Science and Soul - looking at frequencies, breath and depth of sound ✦ Rhythm and Roots - using key principles of heartbeat and grounding Why it matters: In a fast-moving, over-productive world, this is a space to put all of that down - to reconnect with your own voice and a sense of freedom, all in a way that asks nothing of you but your presence. Come as you are. Format: Fortnightly | Thursday evenings Venue: Colet House Jimi Lyons A graduate of the British Academy of New Music and recipient of its National Music Facilitator of the Year award, Jimi Lyons has spent over five decades as a respected musician and mentor at the heart of the UK music industry, co-founding the iconic Vibes & Pressure at Passing Clouds, Dalston with Natty.
